Sensitive answers stay on the device
Quiz answers and local storage
Sensitive answers stay on the device
When you select an answer, the application stores the selected question numbers in your browser's localStorage so progress can survive a refresh. The data stays under the storage controls of that browser profile. It is not uploaded by the quiz code, attached to the page URL, or included in structured data.
You can remove saved answers with the Clear all answers control. Clearing browser site data can also remove them. Other people who can access the same unlocked browser profile may be able to open the saved progress, so use a private browser window or clear the test on a shared device.
- Stored locally: selected question identifiers and update time
- Not required: name, email, account, phone number, location
- Not uploaded by the MVP: individual answers or final score
- User control: clear button and browser site-data settings
Sharing is an explicit action
Result sharing and challenge links
Sharing is an explicit action
Social buttons build a text payload from the score, the count of Yes answers, and the canonical public URL. They open the chosen platform's composer or use the device share sheet. We do not claim that a post was published, and we do not request a social password.
Couples links and friends codes each contain one encrypted total plus its opening key. Couples data sits after the # fragment; friends labels and codes remain in the host browser's localStorage. Complete links or codes permit technical decoding, so share only with intended recipients. Neither format contains individual answers.
- Share controls are never automatic.
- Result cards are generated locally with Canvas.
- Copy Result copies the score text, not hidden answers.
- Deleting a sent message is controlled by the receiving platform.

What the application does not control
The production site is served by Cloudflare Pages, which may process standard request data such as IP address, time, user agent, requested path, and security events. Cloudflare also automatically injects its Web Analytics performance beacon. Its documentation describes page-view and timing metrics; the quiz code does not attach answers, scores, member labels, or score codes to those requests.
External source links go to organizations such as CDC, NIAAA, RAINN, FTC, NHTSA, and Rice University archives. Visiting those sites is governed by their policies. Social share composers are also third-party destinations and may set cookies or collect information once opened.
- Cloudflare Pages hosts production.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics is active at the hosting layer.
- No answer analytics package is included in the source.
- External navigation leaves this site's privacy boundary.

Advertising disclosure
Conditional wording before ads exist
Third-party advertising is not active in the current MVP. If third-party advertising is enabled in the future, third-party advertisers, including Google, may use cookies and web beacons to serve ads on this site. This policy and any consent controls must be updated before advertising goes live.
Because this test includes adult sexual and substance-related topics, ad availability may be restricted. Advertising must not change the rule that individual answers remain local, and ad scripts must not receive answer state or result details from the quiz.
- Current status: no third-party ads
- Future disclosure names Google, cookies, web beacons, and ad serving
- Answer state must not be passed to advertising code
- Policy must be revised before activation

Privacy questions can be sent to [email protected] without including intimate answers. We may revise this policy when hosting, analytics, advertising, or product behavior changes. A new effective date should accompany a material revision.
This policy describes the product rather than promising universal legal compliance. Laws and platform obligations vary by place and use. The safest product default remains data minimization: collect no answer set when the tool can work locally.
