The 100 − Yes formula
How the scoring method works
The 100 − Yes formula
A Rice Purity Test traditionally compresses lifetime experiences into one number. Our Rice Purity Test begins at 100, subtracts one point for every Yes, and displays ten category counts beside the total. This makes the Rice Purity Test calculation reproducible while showing some of the context a single number hides.
Every item has equal weight. That means the Rice Purity Test total cannot distinguish an ordinary relationship milestone from a serious safety event. The Rice Purity Test guide therefore treats the total as entertainment and uses separate, answer-triggered resources for sexual health, alcohol, substance mixing, driving, relationship agreements, and digital consent.
- 100 original adult questions
- 10 groups of 10 questions
- One point deducted per Yes
- No demographic percentile or hidden weighting

Counts are not character
A Rice Purity Test score answers one narrow question: how many listed experiences did this person mark? A Rice Purity Test does not reveal why an event happened, how often, how recently, whether behavior changed, or how a person feels now. The Rice Purity Test should never be used to pressure a friend or partner into disclosing answers.
Self-reported sensitive behavior can be affected by recall and social-desirability bias. A private Rice Purity Test may reduce the pressure of being watched, but privacy does not validate the scale. For that reason, this Rice Purity Test guide does not publish precise age or country averages without a documented sample and method.
- Read category shape before the headline number.
- Avoid good, bad, pure, or impure labels.
- Do not infer consent or safety from a total.
- Use reliable resources when a note is triggered.

This Rice Purity Test computes in the browser and saves progress only in localStorage. The Rice Purity Test does not require an account, and the MVP does not transmit individual answers or the final score to a server. Clearing the test removes the saved local answer set.
Sharing is user initiated. Couples links and friends codes each carry one encrypted total plus its opening key, never question responses. Couples data sits in the URL fragment; friends labels and codes stay in the host's localStorage. A complete link or code permits technical decoding, even when the interface coordinates a later reveal.
